Sales Manager

7twenty Professional Search is exclusively partnering with an established, award-winning transport and logistics company to appoint a Sales Manager for GB. The company provides large scale haulage, logistics, warehousing, recycling and asset disposal services for their clients.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a strategy that focuses on identifying and developing new sales channels across the GB and Irish markets. They will develop and manage a sales forecasts and secure service agreements with new customers that supports growth and profitability for the business.

The Sales Manager will demonstrate strong commercial acumen in order to maximise sales revenue, whilst driving overall business growth and enhancing brand reputation.

The individual should also possess the following experience:

  • 5+ years management experience in a business-to-business sales environment, ideally within the transport and logistics or a related sector.
  • Experience of developing and executing successful sales strategies within a fast-paced and competitive environment.
  • Proven track record of building effective internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute positively as a part of a team.
