Senior Associate / Associate

Our client specialises in strategic communication, reputation management and stakeholder engagement. Combining their corporate communications and marketing expertise, long-established relationships and market knowledge, they work closely in partnership with local and international clients to help them achieve their full growth potential.

Due to a number of recent client wins and increasing demand from their rapidly growing client portfolio, our client is seeking to recruit a high-calibre, ambitious Senior Associate/Associate to join their growing team.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity work as part of an industry-leading team on an enviable portfolio of clients across the legal, financial, technology, commercial property and public sectors in Northern Ireland and further afield.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum three years’ experience for Associate or five years’ experience for Senior Associate in an agency setting or similar environment;
  • An impressive track record in corporate communications and public affairs, with experience of working with blue chip clients in a fast-paced environment within the last three years;
  • Experience in playing a leading role in the servicing of client accounts – including formulating and delivering corporate communications, public affairs and stakeholder engagement strategies; developing message-rich content for media and non-media purposes; managing detailed policy and political monitoring requirements for clients; developing tender responses and new business opportunities;
  • Excellent written skills (including press releases, web/digital copy and copy for marketing collateral) and strong attention to detail, with an unfaltering commitment to flawless execution within strict deadlines;
  • Strong IT and verbal communication skills;
  • An in-depth understanding of government and politics in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and UK/Westminster;
  • An understanding of, and interest in, key economic, and business issues in Northern Ireland;
  • Strong ambition to progress and develop in your career;
  • A degree in any discipline at a minimum classification of 2:1.
